Welcome to Blackmountain Detailing LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By booking our mobile auto detailing services or using our website (blackmountainautodetail.com), you ("Client" or "Customer") agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please review them carefully.

 

1. Scope of Services

Blackmountain Detailing LLC provides professional mobile automotive care and detailing services directly at the client's designated location. Our core services include, but are not limited to:

• Exterior washing and decontamination

• Interior detailing, deep cleaning, and vacuuming

• Carpet and upholstery shampooing/extraction

• Paint correction and protection

• Headlight restoration

• Emergency clean-up services

As a mobile service, we bring our own equipment and water/power supplies where applicable, though access to a safe working area, adequate lighting, and sometimes water/power hookups may be required depending on the service package selected.

 

2. Customer Responsibilities and Access

To ensure safe and efficient service delivery, the Client agrees to the following responsibilities:

• Vehicle Access: Provide safe, legal, and unobstructed access to the vehicle at the scheduled appointment time and location.

• Accurate Information: Provide accurate vehicle details (make, model, condition, and specific problem areas such as excessive pet hair, biological waste, or heavy staining) during booking to ensure appropriate pricing and time allocation.

• Personal Belongings: Remove all personal items, valuables, money, and trash from the vehicle prior to our arrival. Blackmountain Detailing LLC is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or left-behind personal items.

• Vehicle Relocation: If necessary, be available to move the vehicle or grant permission for our technicians to safely maneuver the vehicle within the immediate property bounds.

 

3. Payment Terms

• Pricing: Quotes provided via our website or communication channels are estimates based on standard vehicle conditions. Severe contamination (e.g., biohazards, heavy mold, excessive pet hair) may incur additional surcharges, which will be discussed and agreed upon prior to commencing work.

• Payment Methods: Payment is due upon completion of the service unless a prior corporate or commercial agreement is in place. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and other approved electronic payment systems.

• Deposits: Certain services or appointments may require a non-refundable booking deposit to secure the scheduled time slot, as outlined in our Booking Deposit Policy.

 

4. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refunds

• Cancellations & Rescheduling:

• • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment are fully eligible for a deposit refund or transfer.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time may forfeit the booking deposit.

• Weather & Force Majeure: Mobile detailing is subject to weather conditions. If severe weather or unforeseen safety hazards require rescheduling on our part, your deposit and appointment will be fully protected and rescheduled at the earliest mutually agreeable time without penalty.

• Satisfaction & Refunds: Please refer to our separate Refund and Satisfaction Policy for details regarding post-service inspection, redo requests, and refund timelines.

 

5. Limitation of Liability

• Pre-Existing Damage: Our technicians exercise the utmost care and professionalism. However, detailing older, pre-existing damaged, or heavily worn vehicles carries inherent risks. Blackmountain Detailing LLC is not liable for pre-existing scratches, dents, paint chips, loose trim, faulty electrical components, or wear-and-tear uncovered during the detailing process.

• Maximum Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of Blackmountain Detailing LLC for any claim arising out of or relating to our services shall be strictly limited to the total amount paid by the Client for the specific service rendered.

• Waiver: We do not assume liability for mechanical failures, electrical malfunctions, or issues arising from vehicle components that were compromised prior to service.

 

6. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service or our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith informal negotiations between the Client and Blackmountain Detailing LLC management. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah.

 

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide services to you shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

 

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms of Service at our sole discretion. It is the Client's responsibility to check our website periodically for changes. Continued use of our services following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
